Who we are
Bhagya Cards is a small Pune-based studio that designs and ships sacred-geometry Yantra cards.
What we collect
When you place an order, we collect your name, postal address, email, and phone number — only what is needed to ship the card and answer your queries. When you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email only. When you write to us through the contact form, we collect your name, your email, the subject and your message, and, if you are reporting an error, the address of the page it is on; we email them to our studio to answer you. If you use our astrology features — a kundali, a panchang for your city, or a card that asks for a birth date — we also collect your date, time and place of birth (the time is optional), and the same details, with a gotra where you give one, for any family member you add. We use them only to compute the charts and readings you ask for; some features send your chart details to an AI provider to write a reading. If you tell us which deities or devotional themes you follow, we keep that to shape what the app shows you. All of it is deleted when you delete your account.
What we never collect
We do not collect your government ID or payment details. Payment is handled by our gateway partner; their privacy policy applies to that transaction.
How we use it
Order fulfilment, shipping notifications, and (for newsletter subscribers) the fortnightly email. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.
Cookies
We use a single cookie to remember your light/dark theme preference. We do not use tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for detail.
Your rights
You may at any time request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@bhagya.cards with the subject "Data request". We respond within seven days.
Retention
We keep order records for seven years (required for Indian tax compliance). Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe. The website keeps no copy of a contact-form message once it has been emailed to us.
Security
All site traffic is HTTPS-only. Data is stored on encrypted disks at our hosting provider. Only the founding team has access.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will date the new version and email anyone with an active order or subscription.
