कथाThe tradition
The shop's own puja, in tradition
A trading family keeps a calendar of its own. At the Lakshmi Pujan of Diwali the shop is washed, decorated and lit, and the new account books are laid before Lakshmi and Ganesh. On the first page go a swastika and the words Shubh and Labh, written in kumkum. In Gujarat this is the chopda pujan; across the North, the puja of the bahi-khata. The new year of the accounts begins there.
A new shop begins the same way. Before the shutter first goes up there is a puja at the threshold, a coconut is broken, and a toran of mango leaves and marigolds is tied over the door. Every ordinary morning has its small rite too: the first sale of the day, the bohni, whose money is touched to the forehead.
The Vyapaar Vruddhi yantra belongs to this tradition of the counter. It is kept where the day's business is done: at the cash counter, beside the ledger, at the reception. It is drawn from its traditional form, around a single point at the centre, the seat of the deity.
A yantra does not do the work for you. It keeps the shop's daily puja in front of you while you do it.
स्थानWhere it is kept
When and where shop-owners keep the Vyapaar Vruddhi yantra
Many begin it on the first morning of a new shop or office, before the doors open, or at the Lakshmi Pujan of Diwali, beside the new account books. Any morning before opening time will do, if you can give it thirty unhurried minutes.
- At the cash counter, in the cash box or the drawer where the day's takings are kept.
- Beside the ledger or the billing desk.
- At the reception, where every visitor is first received.
In the shop, the northeast (Ishan) corner is the traditional place for the deities, and many keep the counter's yantra facing east or north. Never on the floor.
नामYour card

विधिHow to begin
Begin it at the shop, in about thirty minutes
You do not need a pandit. Choose a morning before opening time, when you can give it thirty unhurried minutes.
- Unwrap it with intention, at the counter or at a desk facing east.
- Cleanse it with a soft cloth dipped in water and a pinch of haldi.
- Light a diya and offer a flower: a small ghee lamp, a marigold or a rose, a few grains of rice.
- Chant the bija mantra 108 times, one mala, with the card in your right hand.
- Set your sankalpa, your intention in one sentence, holding the card to your forehead.
- Place it where it lives: the cash counter, the cash box, the reception.
- Return to it each morning for one breath, before the first customer. There is nothing to renew; the practice is your attention.
The bija mantra is printed on the activation card in your envelope.
In the envelope
- Your Vyapaar Vruddhi Yantra Card, with the name you added.
- An activation card with its bija mantra and the seven steps.
- A gift-ready envelope that holds them both.
It leaves Pune within 1–2 business days by tracked courier, with tracking by SMS and email.

प्रश्नQuestions
Questions about the Vyapaar Vruddhi Yantra Card
Where in the shop should I keep it?
At the cash counter or in the cash box, beside the ledger, or at the reception. The northeast (Ishan) corner is the traditional place for the deities; keep it off the floor.
Can I give it for a new shop opening?
Yes. Pay now and add the owner's name after payment, with their mobile number so that the card waits in their wallet in the app. In a metro city, order about a week before the opening.
Which day should I begin it?
The morning of the opening, before the first customer, or the Lakshmi Pujan of Diwali. Any morning will do if you can give it thirty unhurried minutes.
Is the card consecrated?
Yes. Before it is dispatched, Vedic pandits we work with directly in Pune perform the puja of the yantra's deity for your card.
Is the card a promise of more business?
No. In tradition, shop-owners keep it at the counter as part of the shop's puja. It is offered with love, not as a promise of a specific result.
