About this text

Vallabhacharya, the 15th-century teacher of the Pushti Marg, wrote these eight verses. Each verse lists what belongs to Krishna, from his lips and his walk to the gopis and the cows, and calls each one sweet. Each closes on the same line: everything of the lord of sweetness is sweet.

It is sung across India, especially around Janmashtami, and in the seva of Pushti Marg homes.
